How does the Vision-RTK 2 provide its localization data?
To output the position data, we offer various message formats over multiple ports:
Output channels
The output of the Vision-RTK 2 can be transmitted directly over:
Ethernet (TCP/IP)
Serial interfaces (UART)
CAN
It is also possible to stream the data output by using our ROS Driver. For more information see: https://docs.fixposition.com/fd/fixposition-ros-driver.
Output content
There are various message formats supported by the Fixposition Vision-RTK 2 which contain information about, e.g., GNSS position data, signal level data, and the Fusion output data. Besides common localization data formats such as the NOV_B, and NMEA, we define our custom message format FP_A to output 3D position, orientation, velocity, and other useful information.
