In this example, we assume the system is used as part of an autonomy stack for waypoint following. We also emphasize that although our dead reckoning solution supplies highly accurate positioning, it should be integrated with other safety systems (e.g., collision detection, emergency braking, and obstacle detection) so that the vehicle never relies solely on positioning data to navigate complex or hazardous environments.
